Background
- Scope and Content:
The collection primarily documents Frantz work with the Press Division of the Office of the Coordinator of Inter-American Affairs (CIAA) and the State Department during World War II as well as the United Nations Conference in San Francisco in 1945.
The Frantz papers consist of printed material, newspaper articles and clippings, reports, memoranda, photographs, press releases, and scrapbooks assembled by Harry W. Frantz in 1946 and much of which was re-assembled by Frantz in the 1960s. The collection also contains summary stories of work at the CIAA and other personal items by Harry W. Frantz, as well as documentation of Nelson A. Rockefeller 1964 Presidential Campain and his activities in the early 1950s.

Harry W. Frantz was Director of the Press Division of the Office of the Coordinator of Inter-American Affairs (CIAA). Frantz also served as an associate of Nelson A. Rockefeller.
