Manuscript memoirs of Artur Georgievich Bitenbinder concerning his military education, the 1905 Revolution, World War I, the Bolshevik Revolution, and the Civil War.

Biographical / Historical:

Artur Georgievich Bitenbinder (1886-1972), Russian military officer, Colonel, veteran of World War I, participant of the White movement, Chief of Staff of the Markov Division, author of articles on military history. Emigrated, settled in the USA. In 1960s-1970s published numerous articles in "Novoe russkoe slovo." Died in Pittsburgh.
