Boris Petrovich Aprelev (February 18, 1888, Znamenskoye village, Novgorod province - March 5, 1951, San Francisco), Russian naval officer, writer, author of marine stories and historical essays. Veteran of the World War I, served as a liaison officer on the French front. Was an assistant naval agent in Japan, then naval agent of admiral A. V. Kolchak in Italy and Yugoslavia. In exile lived in Yugoslavia, then in Paris. Member of the Wardroom in Paris (1925-1929). Then moved to China. He was in charge of the chancellery at the Kazan-Theotokos monastery in Harbin, participated in the monastery magazine "Khleb Nebesnyi". In 1931 he moved to Shanghai, served in the French consular police, and was in charge of archives. In 1947 he was an editor of the newspaper of the Russian émigré association "Russkoe slovo." Died in San Francisco.

Iurii (Georgii) Petrovich Aprelev (1889-1964), Russian officer. Graduated from the Corps of Pages (1908), from the Nikolaev Military Academy (1914). In the fall of 1914 he was seriously wounded. At the end of 1915 he voluntarily returned to his regiment. In the summer of 1917 he was transferred to the communications department of Headquarters of the Commander-in-Chief, where he entered the inner circle of the General L. G. Kornilov. In the Volunteer Army from Nov. 1917. In July 1918 he was the adjutant of the General Denikin. At the end of April 1919, in the headquarters of General P. N. Vrangel. Evacuated in March 1920, at the end of 1920 went to the Far East, to Shanghai. Later returned to Europe and settled in France. Director of the Russian Cadet Corps in Versailles. Died in Paris. Buried in the Sainte-Genevieve-des-Bois cemetery.
