The Zhang Fakui papers contains original photographs, correspondence, diaries, documents, and maps relating to the operations history of the Fourth War Zone and the governance and development of Hainan. The 22 items of correspondence consist of incoming and outgoing letters from American wartime commanders in China and others associated with him and several manifestoes by the "Third Force" political organization, dating from 1945 to 1948. There are also microfilmed correspondence from 1935 to 1966. The Fourth War Zone papers focus on the Corp's operation history during the Sino-Japanese War and also include the documents and maps, as well as manuscripts of General General Zhang's speeches and reflection reports from the subunits.
