- Particularism: An Interdisciplinary ConferenceThere has been a growing discomfort in many disciplines with the possibility that reality may in fact come to be seen as "only a reservoir for concepts" (Adorno). This conference follows from the conviction that the richness and the irreducible importance of the particular experience, the detail, and the event need to be reaffirmed.
