- Biographical / Historical:
The Grolier Club of New York was founded in 1884 and is America's oldest and largest society for bibliophiles. Several early twentieth century book collectors in Buffalo belonged to the Grolier Society. These included John L. Clawson, A. Conger Goodyear, and Thomas B. Lockwood.
