Crews, Chris
The Activism at The New School oral history program, initiated in 2019, documents touchstone moments of activism on The New School's campus from the perspective of students, faculty, and staff who participated in these movements. The program focuses on the past fifty years of activism at The New School. As of April 2020, interviews have been conducted with activists from the late 1960s/early 1970s anti-Vietnam War movement, members of the 1996-1997 Mobilization for Real Diversity, Democracy, and Economic Justice at The New School, and with a student participant in various campus protests in the 2000s-2010s, including those against New School President Bob Kerrey and Occupy Wall Street.

Collection consists of Adele Mowton DuBreuil's diploma from the New York School of Fine and Applied Art (now, Parsons School of Design) in advertising display, a black and white photographic portrait of her as a young woman after graduation, and 24 small, black and white photographic prints depicting her graphic design work from her time as a student, 1917-1919. Marcus, Adrienne
These records pertain to Adrienne Marcus's work in various New School administrative positions from 2002 until 2010, although she worked at the school until 2016. The majority of the files reflect Marcus's role as Director of Academic Advising (2002-2004) and, subsequently, Director of the Dual-Degree and Joint Programs (2004-2012). There is also material concerning Marcus's work on the Media Bridge Committee, tasked with the creation of The New School Media Center in 2005. Her role as Assistant Provost (2012-2016) is not documented in this record group.

Collection
Landa, Albert
Consists of records generated by Albert Landa (1927-2008), who started in 1960 as director of Public Information and became vice president of Development and Public Relations at The New School, and then held the title of Vice President, until he retired in 1985. The records in this collection are notable because Landa was deeply involved in a rapid expansion of the university, overseeing the launch of the Center for New York City Affairs, the merger of Parsons School of Design with The New School, and leading the merger of the Otis Art Institute of Los Angeles with Parsons. The collection is comprised of six series, representing activities related to most of the major divisions and institutes of the university. Materials relate primarily to the development of new programs, building projects, fund raising, and public relations. Some documents in this collection are restricted.
