Historical Note

Moritz Goldstein was born and educated in Berlin. Being Jewish, he had to leave Germany in 1933, going to Italy in 1933, France in 1939, England, and the United States in 1947. He lived in Washington, D.C., 1949-1951, and New York City, 1951-1977. He used the pseudonyms Michael Osten and Inquit.

Scope and Contents

This collection contains unpublished manuscripts of Moritz Goldstein (Widerlegung der Macht, Gedankengnge, and Formulierungen) and manuscripts of newspaper and journal articles, 1939-1953.
